This makes sense given the fact that we have seen 16 days when the temperature was at least 105°! ![]() With only a few days left in August, it looks like Summer 2023 will go down in the record books as our hottest summer (June, July, & August) ever in San Antonio. For reference, the average number of 100 days the Alamo City sees each year is 18. Last year, 2022 is now in a close third place at 58 days. The previous record was held in 2009 at 59 days. There’s no doubt that this summer has been brutally hot, and now we have another superlative to add to 2023: the most triple-digit days on record with 60 days so far this year.
